The 25^th Scientific Congress of Hellenic Medical Students and the 13^th International Forum for Medical Students and Junior Doctors constitutes a milestone in the history of the institution, since it marks the active presence of the SSHMS for a quarter of a century. Therefore, as the organizing committee, we intend not only to organize yet another successful congress for Hellenic and international medical students, but also to make significant improvements and establish the congress as one of the most prestigious and high quality events aimed at students of all the health sciences, young doctors and researchers.So it poses a challenge to attract the attention of medical students from all around the globe and to achieve a higher scientific level of all the submitted abstracts.

The congress will take place in May 2019 (10th-12th) at the Concert Hall of Thessaloniki, an awe-inspiring, contemporary conference center of international standards, which is comfortably situated near the city center. It will be organized by the Chapter of Thessaloniki of the SSHMS. We hope that it will be one of the most successful congresses in the history of the institution with substantial changes, which will contribute to its modernization and to its establishment on an international level.
